Es el fundador de la Compañía de Jesús, vivió entre los años 1491-1556. Esta congregación religiosa tiene como finalidad extender la fe en Cristo por todo el mundo y trabajar por una sociedad más justa y solidaria tal como desea Dios. En la mano derecha tiene la bola del mundo para expresar la universalidad de la misión de la Compañía. En la parte superior izquierda se aprecia un IHS, son las tres primeras letras del nombre de Jesús en griego y constituyen el icono de los jesuitas en todo el mundo.

He is the founder of the Society of Jesus, and lived between the years 1491-1556. This religious congregation aims to spread faith in Christ throughout the world, and work for a more just and supportive society as God desires. In his right hand he holds the globe of the world to express the universality of the Society's mission. In the upper left there is an IHS, which are the first three letters of the name of Jesus in Greek, icon of the Jesuits throughout the world.
