Es el mismo al que veíamos de niño en un cuadro anterior. Vemos como sigue sosteniendo el estandarte de la Cruz. Fue el precursor de Jesús anunciando su próxima llegada y lo bautizó en el río Jordán. El cordero que está a su derecha representa a Jesucristo, cordero de Dios que quita los pecados del mundo.
Saint John the Baptist
He is the same one we saw as a child in a previous painting. We see how he continues to hold the banner of the Cross. He was the forerunner of Jesus announcing his coming and baptized him in the Jordan River. The lamb at his right hand represents Jesus Christ, the lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world.
